Only the outdoor bar open, but it's possible to sit in the larger back bar as well as outside. Average pint of Wye Valley Butty Bach.

Time to kill before the train, went in the small front bar - no problems. A reasonable selection of ales. Would re-visit with more time.

Quick visit, first impressions it`s an interesting boozer with some decent ales on...only downside ..front bar you can hear the pin drop when you walk in, two head syndrome from the locals...I`m sure they`re friendly enough - probably me!

Fantastic pub. Several ales including lovely pint of doombar. A large outside bit which you wouldnt expect from the phtoto. Two tv's showing the different matches that were on. Friendly staff and a juke bar. There was a back room but didnt venture in there. Best pub in worcester

super little Pub. as stated front bar is the tap room with a rear lounge and superb out door TV facility. well kept range of real asked, normally between5 and 7 on per day. Loved The St. . Edmunds that was on recently but also normally have a selection of small breweries too. They also do a smashing range of filled rolls, the beef and horseradish cooked freshly on the day was amazing!
one of the better pubs in Worcester. competitive prices, well you have to with Wetherspoons right on your doorstep. will be back soon.

A good mix of locals young and old - watched the footie outside in the heated smoking area. The staff excellent - the beers were not sampled but a good range of ales and lagers. Cider was the choice and boy was it devilishly good.

A good starting or ending point to the evening or just stay the whole night as there is plenty of banter and a good vibe.

Excellent old school pub. Highly recommended.

Popped in there for a couple before travelling on to the rugby ground.

Had Old Speckled Hen on at .... get this .... 2 a pint.

Landlord very friendly as were the staff. Locals very accommodating.

I will be back in the summer for the cricket.

As quoted ... "Its definitely one of the better pubs in Worcester"

Locals pub with 2 rooms. The front room is mainly a tap room and the rear room is a lounge. Theres a large courtyard along the side of the pub with a big screen showing sport, very unusual. The lounge has fruit and quiz machines and is very comfortable. The only food available is paninis that are sold all day until 9 p.m. and at 2.55 these look a bit of a bargain. 7 handpumps on the bar but only 5 on, Old Speckled Hen, Pedigree, GK St Edmunds a real cider and a changing guest. The St Edmunds was a decent pint for a GK offering and was well kept. The staff were friendly as were the locals although some were a bit on the boisterous side. Its definitely one of the better pubs in Worcester.

Landlord, landlady, family, staff, locals, and those who are not locals.
Always welcoming, friendly, warm, full of wry humour.
Some nights full of contract workers, others locals, others off duty coppas
Always, always good atmosphere.
The pub is situated on the route to the city centre, so you can imagine how fruity it could get on a weekend.! The staff are so skilled, they retain a freindly, rural type feel, even when heaving full of drunken silly buggers.

Not an outstanding Pub, but not a bad one either. Good range of Ales (up to 6), usually Deuchars IPA and often something from Malvern Hills, more of a national selection than a local-micro. Back room's cosy, Staff / Locals have always been friendly, can't understand why it's not in the Good Beer Guide to be honest.

A good start for our Worcester pub crawl. Decent range of well kept beers.
