We had excellent family meal there - good service, good food, good time. Great value.

I was pleasantly surprised. The bar menu actually looks better than the carvery one and is a nicer place to eat.

This pub has had a number of name changes in its lifetime and is currently a Toby carvery. It is extremely popular and it took over a half an hour to get into the restaurant area. The food was cheap, plentiful and good. The bar sold Fullers London Pride and Green King IPA which was cheap at �2.25. It was comfortable and friendly but far too crowded for me. If you came for the cheap food and you had a lot of patience it is fine but otherwise you should go elsewhere.
