Arrived at about 5pm to find that half the pub was empty, but reserved from 4.30. These people hadn't arrived when we left just before 6!
Staff were a bunch of kids who were fairly clueless and had to be coaxed to serve. The beer was appalling. Honeydew was cold lager by the time they had finished with it, the other bitter was also too cold to appreciate , and the remaining 2 pumps were both dedicated to London Pride, which we couldn't face. Can't keep beer for toffee, but do serve meals to kids in high chairs and pints of freezing fizz to their dads, if you like that sort of thing and have reserved a table ahead. Avoid.

Been in a few times over the past couple of months. Seems to be a new man in charge now and the place is a bit more friendly. Hopefully this will be the start of a change as the place is really nice, just missing the 'local' feel.

This place is more like a Fullers restaurant than pub, although the bar area at the front is quite comfortable. There is a huge plasma screen up on the wall, but I saw no sign of any sport advertisements so Im not sure what it is used for. The whole of the back of the pub is a waiter service restaurant and the food looked quite pricey. I had a burger in the front bar and it was very big, but a little bland and expensive at 9.50. The pub is in the middle of nowhere down a lane that splits Osterley Park and a golf course so the food cant be that bad as it was pretty busy with local workers that had driven down to have their lunch.

The draught selection is very minimal, but the Pride was on top form and Chiswick and ESB were also available. I found the staff and the manager to be extremely friendly and efficient and there didnt seem to be any problems as the pub got busier for the lunchtime rush.

There is ample parking outside which is mostly hedged off from the picnic tables surrounding the front and side of the pub. There is also a large area of covered seating for those rainy days and another big grassed area at the rear of the pub that sides onto the garden centre next door. Im sure that the covers will soon be coming off the BBQ and bar area that is located on the edge of the grass.

I'd imagine that this place is lovely in the summer if you are lucky enough to get a table away from any rampaging kids and I would go back if I lived in the area.

We had a wonderful afternoon in this pub on Saturday. It was my daughters third birthday and after an indoor party at a local playpark we escaped to the sunshine and the oasis of the pub garden. A bunch of adults and several small children, they ran around the garden whilst we tucked into some grub and had a well deserved spritzer.
The food was gorgeous, the staff were very friendly and attentive, even bringing out frisbees and balls for the children to play with.
Am writing this review as all were extremely impressed and a nice day was made even nicer with this fab service. Well done all at the H&H, keep up the good work.

Pub has potential - fantastic beer garden perfect for summer days. However the staff are clueless, service is atrocious. Impossible to get served & food was average given the steep price.

Excellent pub! Good beer, good food!

You cannot visit without asking the landlord to give you a Nacho Hat!

Sizable pub with a good range of pub food. Real ales (Fullers) always in top condition. Local pub which changes character throughout the day as the clientele changes. Large beer garden for the summer.

Nice of an afternoon but in the evening it is taken over by people who do not seem to fully understand the true nature of pub.
Good for: People on the wagon
