Walked passed today and was told by a workman that the Magpie was being converted into 9 flats

Some of the crowd may be a little on the rough side, but friendly barlady.

new owners, serving the same agressive drunks, avoid at all costs

the pub is now under new ownership and the place has been modernised. there is regular entertainment in the club bar which does 70s, 80s on a saturday night and karaoke on a sunday. the staff are friendly and so are the locals. there is also good drink promotions on most of the time.... WELL DONE TO THE NEW OWNERS

all of the customers were extremley rude & very fighty - not a pleasurable experience at all. both sets of mens toilets out of action and being told to use the ladys. will not use again
