A much better pub than the reviews here suggest. Cosy atmosphere and lively at the weekends.

Part of a small pub chain. Bit of adownmarket Wetherspoon feel to it. ONly one ale on - Tether from Wahrfe something or other... wasn't particularly nice.

First the good news, great beer. The food however was dreadful. There were 5 of us and all of us had poor food. 3 people had steaks that were tasteless, I ordered a Moroccan lamb dish with couscous. It arrived without couscous and with way over-cooked rice. The Lamb was gristly and had clearly been re-heated. It cost over 75 and was way overpriced. So drink but do not eat here is my advice.
