Lack of service blamed on staff absence, so wasn't "table table" service as practised in other such Whitbread branded pub restaurants. Chips and peas included in the meals were of poor quality, no one asked us if the meals were OK. There was only Ringwood on tap, the other two ales were off. No what I expected.

Wow. Again used to come here with my children for the play area. That has now gone - with much improved decor. I can only say the service and food was great! Staff were friendly and attentive. New managers seem to be in place, not twenty somethings though! I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!

Used to come here with my young daughter as she could play in kids area whilst I had a pint. Now turned into some kind of Gastropub and my visit was very disapointing. Service was slow and food not particualy scintilating.

Flat lager and dusty chairs - two out of three ales 'off'. Managed and operated by 'twenty-somethings'. I hope their staff accommodation is clean.

When first opened it was excellent but a visit a while later was not enjoyable ... rushed food and not hot ! typical commercial eatery

Had a so-so meal here - very bland but was made to feel welcome - but its one of those robot type pubs - staff swipe a card every 30 secs into the till !!

Food is good but a bit expensive. Couple fruit machines, kids play area outside.

Typically bland Brewsters pub with a Travel Inn attached.
