A vile place that is never good for a beer in the evening. Over priced selection of bottled beers only, tart's boudoir decor and clientele that I was happy to leave there. Not for me - clearly works for others, but definitely not me.

Ghastly stand up hellhole full of braying students; no draught beer at all. I didn't even get as far as the bar before turning on my heel and leaving. I agree with thdts - go to Raouls instead.

Absolute sh*te. Watery cocktails and raaaaas everywhere you look. Angels across the road is better, if you're into this kind of thing.

Poor and despite the comments here, the cocktails are actually so devoid of alcohol as to render them impotent. A bar for people who don't like drinking and get tipsy on a packet of wine gums or a sniff of the brewer's apron. The long drinks are tasty and refreshing, but so are Innocent and Crussh smoothies.

Yes it blatantly doesn't belong on Beer in the Evening as it's no where you'd go for a beer unless you like forking out 3.50 for a bottle of Nastro. And yes some of the clientelle are Sloaney.

But for cocktails it's a good bet. Despite looking rammed from the street you can usually get a perch, service is always very quick and friendly (unlike in Raouls where they only serve blonde girls or blokes braying with their 20 notes). And the cocktails are dead good, happy hour is certainly a good deal.

I'm told it does special offers at times, which will only make this rammed bar even more revolting. Too loud, too expensive, too dark and too rah. Easily one of the worst cocktail bars in a city full of mediocre cocktail bars. The only thing good about its location is its proximity to Raoul's, where it is actually possible to have a good cocktail.

Avoid, full of Hooray Henry's.
