really modern pub with kids play area and excellent facilities.do a really cheap carvery every day.
staff were really helpfull and offered me a tour of new hotel rooms.drinks were average price but had a really warm friendly atmosphere a definite next visit great to use in between hospital visiting for meals as close to q e hospital all in all very impressed.

Used to be a social club so main function area still has that feel. Bar area is nicely done out, upstairs is open on a weekend and does a disco - has the feel of a bar you'd find in the town upstairs with leather sofas. Cheaper drinks on a thursday has regular quiz nights on a wed and thurs with free buffet, great local pub

Pub looks rough and unfinished from the ouside. When first entering it feels a little scruffy. Had god serive and beer as expected ... one or two of the staff had a bit of 'attitude'. Bar area ok, but not very well set up for sitting down and eating. Function room acceptable, but full of charvers. Left early.

good quality beer and friendly service. Can relax in bar or enjoy yourself in function room
