Article in the Adver says now been bought by a local and reopening as the 'Eastcot' a community pub. We shall see.

I've changed my mind. It's too expensive and has delusions of grandeur. Shame because it had great promise.

This place is on the up.
They have just put a couple of real ales on, I guess to tempt the Beehive crowd and it's working.
Nice outside area for smokers and non smokers alike, pleasant barstaff.
Good teatime drink.

Great refurb, this is a really nice pub. On the downside the drinks are VERY expensive.

Fairly recent refurb, completely different clientelle now. Bit "trendy bar" for my tastes but don't let that put you off. Nice outside drinking area for the summer.
