Really lacklustre bar could do with a refurb, or at least a bottle of bleach in the ladies,

had a day trip to southport,mega-busy! (southport is great if you love continuous clothes shops). was looking for a bit of sanity and found it in the 'coronation bar'. a lovely pub,friendly staff and a terrific menu at very reasonable prices. wonderfully cooked too to a higher standard than what you would expect from a bar lunch. good selection of beers and spirits too. an absolute gem in the middle of 'shopping chaos' in this town. just a couple of minutes walk from tourist information centre. so gents let your women trapse round the boring busy shops and you relax in the coronation. you wont be dissappointed.

No Real Ale When Visited so opted 4 a decent enuff pint of Staropramen. A Greene King Pub that deff could do better, 6/10

Great pub during the day, nice food and also a lively place at night.
Has pool and big screen Sky Sports.
