The George Inn is a lovely village pub with two bars and a very nice garden. The beers available were Doombar and Harvey's Best which was fine. Although tucked off the main road, it is well worth finding.

Popped in just the other day,
I was welcomed by the gentleman behind the bar which was great.
Absolutely great little village pub.
Will be in again.

This is a real gem - good beer and good food, and they have the balance just right between eating and drinking, maintaining a good buzzy atmosphere. The landlord and landlady are very friendly and have cgot it just right.

Cracking Country Pub, good food, great Harveys and very friendly locals. This place has a great ambience and very welcoming. I thoroughly recommned it and the French chef knows his stuff ! I recommend the Crepe Suzette.

Stopped off with the family for a light Saturday lunch. Busy pub with a friendly welcome - it appears to be run by a family/friends consortium.

There was a good blackboard menu (not too long) at reasonable prices for the TW area and also a typed specials list, although why this is needed when there's a blackboard I wasn't quite sure. Also a good choice of decent sized baguettes at 4-5.

The beer choice was Harveys Sussex (excellent condition), Harveys Old and K&B Sussex. No piped background music.

Although there were one or two other families there I wouldn't say this was a nursery at all. There were a lot of other drinkers and diners there and it seemed to work well for everybody. I'll drop by again one evening without the kids.

Massive change in focus at this pub, from former good food destination to a pub very welcoming for children. Large well looked after garden at back with lots of plastic cars/bikes for kids. Sorry but focus too skewed. Feels a bit like a nursery with a bar attached.

The new landlord and landlady have really got this pub going. Very good food and beer. a mix of customers from working class (like me ) to Posh @@@@
