Like so many.
I do remember though, being first customer in early one evening. I waited five minutes while the two staff chatted. Another customer came in. We waited another five minutes. Eventually one of the bar staff turned to us and said "who's first?".
I wonder if they got re-employed?

Indeed, there is no sign whatsoever of this pub/hotel. There are some new flats in the area where my GPRS said it was supposed to be. So assume that is where it was.

This pub has been closed foe over 12 months and is now flats.

The Berkeley Arms is now a block of flats!

Unfortunately now closed down. Was one of the best in Southport but someone decide a block of flats would be better!
