Large pub with several different drinking areas including an outside terrace. Does a range of beers and offers a choice of Irish beers rather than the standard range found in most pubs in Ireland. I tired the Galway IPA which I was warned was hoppy. It was a good hoppy session beer although served in a chilled lager-style. Good to see some choice though.

An OK visit on a Sunday afternoon. Multi-levelled boozer where a map may come in handy if you are in for a session!

Huge portions of decent nosh and the gwince wasn't too bad either.

I hate this place. Needs to be done up, food is minging, Guinness is poor, and it is full of tourists and culchie students. Not a patch on its namesake down on Pearse St.

Loads of rooms to get lost in, and lots of original features. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and this pubs attracts lots of Dubliners as well as tourists. Good range of beers, including Erdinger Weissbeer. Food is brilliant... massive portions and good prices (about 10 Euro). If only the British namesake Oirish theme pubs were as good as this!

Visited this pub when in Dublin this weekend. Great atmosphere and seemed a bit more of a 'local' than the surrounding bars. Well worth a visit.

Visited this pub when in Dublin last year and had a great time. Its absolutely cavernous and had live music upstairs. Opening/Closing hours seemed to be as and when they felt like it - please note thats not a complaint!

Cosy but large traditional irish pub, great food, especially on a Sunday, very reasonable.
Have been several times.
