Friendly staff and a little hurried by the large number of diners lunchtime yesterday but noticed I was waiting and apologised. Its a DOG FRIENDLY place too. Nice selection on hand pumps, Doom Bar, Harveys and Long Man APA (£3.65) plus a real cider. APA was in good nick. Its on a bus route or two, about 15 mins from Eastbourne Station. Worth a visit I guess.

This pub is tucked away in a small parade of shops just north of Eastbourne, you would have to be a good walker as its very uphill and about four miles. The pub is the epitome of average, there are four handpumps but the selection on was from large family brewers Sheps, Harveys etc.5/10.

Had a reasonable sunday lunch here with the Jazz caverners playing. Battle of Britain and local brew Harveys on hand pumps. Worth a visit

1. Enterprise are a Pub company that lease out pubs to tenants so they are not a managed chain.
2. Keep up the good work guys, love the pub.

Managed pub owned by Enterprise chain. London Pride, Harvey's Sussex Bitter and Courage Directors plys two real ciders. Beer was quite good but not cooled.

Used to be a great pub but recent management has dragged it way down.. Only reason to drink there is the nearest pub is a mile away.
