This pub has just changed hands a few weeks ago and the new owners have given it a lovely new lease of life, its so warm and friendly.
Cask Ales were Saltaire Blonde, Timothy Taylors Golden Best and Black Sheep, they also have another rotation pump for monthly specials.
Prices are very reasonable. Now its back to a busy traditional village pub where children, dogs and walkers are welcome.
I will definitely be back in here soon.

This apology for a pub has 2 different prices depending on if you fit in or not. For example, Carling £3 or £3.40. I asked Denise, the "landlady", if this was the case and she blatantly lied. I went back to confirm and witnessed it for myself. I will not be going back to this place while it is "run" by a lying landlady who thinks she's above any of her customers

My first visit to this pub which was made on a Saturday early-lunchtime with the pub very quiet. The white-painted exterior is very similar to the many stone terraced houses in this area so it blends in well architecturally. The open interior is clean and comfortable but a little 'fussy' perhaps with an enormous amount of brassware especially. There is also a good pool table . The one 'real ale' was Taylor 'Golden Best' and it was well-served. The landlord was friendly enough. Tetley's ale was also on but I'm not sure if that's classed as real ale anymore by the afficionados and it seems to be boycotted by many people in Yorkshire owing to it now being brewed in the Midlands. An ok pub if nothing spectacular and I would certainly call in here again.

Before commenting I read the other posts, and I decided not to bother other than to say there's nothing amazing to write about for this place, it's likely to be closed down before long like so many pubs.

'Alibongo73' - he was just a bloke who served me pints, like the new bloke. Calm down son.

Good pub Gone WRONG ! ! ! This used to be the best local village pub by far, always good beer and good atmosphere also very friendly staff with smiles on their faces. Now beer not so good nor the atmosphere think these people have taken the wrong direction in life and have the wrong attitude for this career. Walk in now and you would struggle to find a familiar face or even a happy one !

Totally disagree with the muppets degrading comments. Now don't have to put extra clothing on cos the place has got heating at last. The one who 'who lives two doors away' - Charlie d, has been bared thank god the biggot and the one who goes to the snooty cos they have to as they've been bared from everywhere eles in the village have nothing to shout about. The pub now actually opens regularly and does food. As for Albert's comment if he like the previous landlord so much why doesn't he go live in Cyprus with him. Tryi it yourself and see who's right..

This pup has at last been put back on the map. The new licencees have made it brighter, warmer, friendly, and the beer has never been as good The last landlord should have left years ago Best beer garden for miles

Only live around the corner, and never go in now... it's changed from being a great boozer to a dive. However I have got fitter walking down to the Snooty or over to Haworth instead to drink! Landlady is friendly enough and good front of house person but landlord has serious attitude problem, not a "people person" and has no idea how to keep a cellar. If you like The Star in Keighley you might feel at home here.

Watched this pub slowly go down hill !! Used to be a great local, with friendly hosts, alas no longer. The welcome is as cold as the back room ! The bar area now resembles a sweet shop ! Shame really.

The jovial old landlord's just retired to Cyprus, and word has it that this wonderful boozer has been taken on by a local couple, who have promised not to alter the character.

Delightful interior, separate rooms for pool, TV and conversation. Cask ales and a friendly welcome. Mine's a pint!

Superb pub to have at the end of the road. Dont ever just think you can go in for a 'quick one' - you'll still be there listening to bad jokes from behind the bar at closing time

A lovelly village pub, whether it is a cheeky pint on a Saturday afternoon or a night out with friends once, you get there you don't want to leave. Great service, friendly staff and a nice cosy atmosphere, and right on my doorstep, fantastic!!!

Brilliant, immaculate village pub. If this was on the end of my street, I'd never leave it. Interior always rminds me of a Christmas grotto... there are nick-nacks all over the place!
