More of a music venue than a cosy pub but Goose Eye Chinook excellent and good value for money.

Strange one. It's an old school and consists mainly of a pool room and one enormous bar room. Not the sort of place that would normally fill me with joy. However the open fire and some superb beer from Goose Eye had me going back for more. For me, at the end of the day, it's the beer that rules and this was excellent.

Just stumbled across this pub, it does some great real ales and is well worth a visit.

Only pub in the village to be open all day, good beer prices, friendly staff and outdoor drinking area. Using this boozer more now the Fleece has gone down hill so much.

Not a pub I frequented until The Golden Fleece was taken over and dragged into the mud. Large pub, very friendly staff, and good prices. Nice rear patio area, beer well kept. Has bands etc at weekends, not everyone's scene, but if you like them would add this to your list.
