A Greene King Hungry Horse pub which cannot be to bad because its always packed when I visit. As a result I treat the place as a quick drink and a toilet stop. The split level layout is not really disabled friendly. IPA is normaly on offer so I settle for half a lager.I have no reason to go out of my way to visit the place, but no reason to berate it either

Cheap basic fare, suited to a cheap meal out with children that doesn't involve MacDonalds or KFC, nice bar and restaurant areas. I have been a few times and the food has always been good if not inspiring. Greene King IPA on draught which is an OK pint certainly far better than John Smiths. Staff have always been attentive and polite.

Very much what it says on the entrance. A 'Hungry Horse' pub tucked away on the main Cotswold Way between Gloucester, Cirencester and Cheltenham. Pub is very large with upstairs dining as well as a large split level ground floor.
Portions of food were very large but probably not of the highest quality. Beer range limited in terms of Real Ale to Greene King IPA. A stopoff point if you're after cheap nosh. Otherwise, pretty average.

I agree that the food is "pile it high and sell it cheap" and the beer range is uninspired.But I'd rate it at 6.

This pub situated in a good location near a busy junction and the Cotswold Way.
You arrive to the sight of 3 handpumps - Greene King IPA, IPA and ....IPA - not too bad. The food is cheap and tastes cheap. The burger was barely touched, the 17" sausage looked as though the would be more meat in a chippalata and whilst the warm duck breast was fine the accommpaning salad was uninspiring and tired. My chicken nachos was probably the best choice but not the chilli version that arrived first. Helpings large but tasteless
