Nice little pub with well kept ale. I've never had a problem with the locals.

Has it really changed that much ?
I used to go in here when I used to come over from Manchester to visit my gran on Conwy Avenue (early 90s).
The locals were always quite welcoming even if I drank on my own and the Marstons was always spot on.
Even brought a gang of my mates over one year and we watched the Benn v Eubank fight in the pub (1993 ?)

I was always told to avoid the King's Head

This pub is a local pub, which is great if you are a local, that is, someone who was born and bred in the village. If not, you probably would be better giving it a miss.
