I must have walked by this quaint place many times without noticing it. Friendly staff; a couple of ales; extensive food menu very reasonably priced - but hardly any customers when we visited.

Friendly pub. Only one ale on and it should have been off, it was vinegary

£7.90 for two pints of Green King IPA.

There are better, less expensive pubs nearby.Magpie & Crown for example.

One of several excellent locals in the area (e.g. the Brewery Tap and the Royal Horseguardman) that make Brentford excellent for a crawl. Cosy pub with friendly staff and a tiny beer garden for the summer. Hope it never gets 'modernised'!

I have known Gordon and Mariko for many years and we have always gone out of our way to patronise their establishments. Excellent fusion food, always a friendly welcome and good ale.

Lovely looking pub. Unfortunately situated down a side street which could be missed by visitors. Very friendly staff. An excellent oasis-like garden at the back. Could do with another hand-pump.

Visited this little place, while in the area on a trainng course. It was a Thursday night & we were very pleasantly surprised. Good beer, friendly landlord (Graham) & the food was excellent. Menu is very different too as it has an oriental slant - we found out the reason for this - Grahams wife's Japanese. A very pleasant evening.

Great little pub if slightly hidden a way.
Dartboard always a plus.
Bar staff were very pleasant.
Food looked and smelled good although I didn't actually sample any of it.
Good atmosphere during the rugby.

Thoroughly recommended.

Much better now it's been smartened up a bit. Still has a good traditional feel to it and well kept beer.

The menu's an interesting mix of English Pub food and Oriental. We ordered bangers and mash and something we couldn't pronounce with chicken and eggs -both very good and arrived quickly.

There's a sunny courtyard with lots of tables out the back (which we didn't notice until the pit-stop before we left) -I wish we'd seen it earlier!

Slightly limited sitting places at this pub. Quite an interesting selection of food on the menu. But only tried the beer, which was good
