about passable on a sat afternoon no great choice of drinks, a few brownie points for helpful bar maid who assisted with the wine list.

Love this place, I wouldn't go at certain times of the day or week but the food there is cheap and filling and great value. Was annoying to find that the non-smoking rule wasn't being enforced in certain sections of the bar though.

dreadful bar especially saturday night full of teenaged kids getting it on sick, avoid! i found the doormen very rude and intimidating!

Wrote a letter of complaint about disgusting service and attitude of staff to head office and had no response. There's a surprise, no customer care. Would not recommend this hovel to anybody!!!

Very cheap for food and good quality, went once for burger night and the other time for curry night, and they never let you go hungry, staff are always willing to help and look like they want to be there

i go to yates's every thursday night now ... ever since they started doing karaoke ... b4 that i was there during the week when it isnt so busy

i'm 18 and ive been in yates' quite a few times(before i was 18) ;) so there.
its wicked though. keep up the good music, the dancefloor could be a bit bigger though

As for the ID's, what's the harm in your ID being checked if you've nothing to hide, what difference does it make bringing your driving licence out with ya!, nothing worse than if your out in a group and one person doesn't have ID, you have to go else where! and if you can't get in there for the same reason!, you've wasted everyone's time and end up leaving the rest of your group and having a crap night. No ID your not coming in!

i visited the m.k bar today with my family and ordered& paid for meals.An hour passed .kids were hungry so were we.still no food.After an hour asked for money back.they said till wasnt working or printing 'so my order hadnt gone through.Got a refund even though til wouldntwork still. what a terrible equiped bar.the staff appeared stressed and it ruined my sons Birthday meal. very upset.

The doormen are lovely, and the can of red bull thing really works. If they could just sort out the sticky floor it would be an excellent pub. Refurb looks good only if you weren't looking hard I don't think you'd have noticed that anything has changed

Doormen are good. My and my clan are far from fairies - but we got into some bother with about 20 nasty laker boys. With there only being five of us we went for retreat - we buggered off and the doormen wouldn't let the tossers leave - they handled it all well. Oh, and if you shout them a can of red bull the mate who can't get there till half eleven will be let in!!!

Doormen good???? I don't think anyone's ever told us that before!
It's just had a huge refurb to modernise the place, it's looking good. The 15 year olds are now 16, cos they've all aged a year!

Stay away, I live in M.K. and avoid this place. It's full of 15 year olds that get drunk and fight or are sick on you

Atmosphere good, music good, can get served at the bar within five minutes even when it is mega busy, doormen good. Very good night out for me and my lot every saturday.
