Another really bad drinking pplace that will only be missed by the large exhaust brigade. Adios Littern tree!
mothola - 3 Jul 2006 10:59
I'm watching... still says "closed for stocktake" in the windows!

'twas alright, like a mini-wetherspoons but in a bad location. Think Mr G has got it about right really...you can't hate it, but won't miss it either.

Aha! The end of the Litter Tray eh? Can't say I'll miss it.

I used to love this pub, then the toad opened and took away all it's customers!
Still a nice place to go, it's got a pool table and theres not a bad atmosphere either.

Not a bad pub, a bit big.
Beers are sensibly priced but food is a bit expensive.

This pub used to be brilliant when Deano had it!

Absoulute toilet now, no one cares anymore.

Bring back Deano, Terry T, Noddy and Jordan those boys had it sorted.

I notice from Spelthorne council's website that the Litten Tree has applied for a late licence. Possibly a reaction to the iminent changes at the Toad?
MrG - 6 Jan 2005 08:31
it is what it offers.. a good crew running a chilled out place to have a beer and play a game of pool, and the footy if your into it. not full of pretentious blue anchor or george people, real people having a brew and a laugh.. keep your hand-bag carrying girls in the fake pop-up pubs down the road..

not the friendliest pub i have been to. tried it and wont be returning

The lager smells like farts. Popular with charvers.

first pub in Staines to obtain the then Holy Grail of a late licence - which combined with it's music and drink price policy, guarenteed a fight every night. Nasty mock-pub with disco lighting. Now as empty as Kate Moss' lunch box.

Very presciption pub. Menu is very average and beer is poor. Priced accordingly. Not a good venue for a few bevvies with your mates - go elsewhere.
Becomes a meat market in the evening.

This pub was quite a good laugh when it first opened ! Nice crowd, something new etc ...within a year the need for clientele must have exceeded the need to keep hold of the license as it really is full of anything under 17 !! Not one for spending my nights with the 'kids' I stopped going and am a bit pissed to say the little so-and-so's have followed us up to the Blue Anchor ! Please keep the Polo Shirts and the Gold Earrings outta the Blue Anchor !! That and the Hob are my only salvation in Staines when needing a few local halves !
Keara - 20 Aug 2003 16:37
the place is only empty because they have got rid of all the little kids! id prefer it empty than full of little children
anonymous - 19 Jul 2003 15:57
Used to be ok until they cracked down on id now the place is empty might aswell close it down!
