No plastics on our visit this week, just excellent choice of beers from micro breweries and pork pies to eat. We were as pleased and impressed as our last visit.

Ticks all the micropub boxes - convivial enough, decent selection of ales all let down by being served in plastic.

Having lived in Petts Wood from 1960 to 1973 how I wish this sort of place had existed then but that was then and this is now. This micropub is wonderful; fantastic atmosphere, lots of people chatting (no music or machines) and a blackboard menu of 6 real ales (no lager) which was ever changing. Friendly, enthusiastic and hard working bar staff and owners. Quite superb. To find it walk up the 'stub end' of Petts Wood Road toward the railway line where the shops etc are in 1960s buildings vs v 1930s further down. PS Great pork pies and cheeses.

A quirky little bar selling very well kept local ales, can get a little busy early evening. Keeps to traditional opening hours so closes most afternoons 2.30pm before re-opening early doors. Not that comfortable if you are planning to stay there foe a long session. But certainly worth a visit, I am happy to support this local business.

This former wine bar reopened last month as a micropub selling ales from Kent's small breweries.

Food no longer served since 2004, wine bar is open from 3pm - 11.30pm daily (except Sun/Mon), available for hire, great little venue in the summer, friendly locals, nice bar staff - set in trendy, quite location in Petts Wood.
Quiet place to go and have glass of wine with the girls !!!

Petts Wood's answer to 'Cheers', the atmosphere is friendly & relaxed, which works well. The choice of music is good with some of the weirdos who pop in occassionally. Never tasted the grub, but Jason (owner) looks the part and looks good.
