The Slak was always known for lager swilling riff-raff.

Closed down and boarded up a few weeks ago after some discerning punter attempted to set fire to the place!

newly decorated drinking lounge area, with very varied age group as regulars.
large beer garden, at rear along with a covered "little house on the prairie" smoker's den.
both nick & pat (licensee's), have successfully worked continuously to improve the image & maintain standards expected of all their clients - long since gone are the "coke-head" undesirables, of yesteryear !!!
wonderful, residential, considerate neighbours that continuously assist in maintaining standards expected of such a desirable wirral residence

Grim interior. Poor beer. OK for watching sport.

Great place to watch the footy, especially those games which Sky isn't showing. Have a sat dish the size of your dining table to pick up those obscure Arab channels. Very smokey however....

Nice pub for a drink in the day.
Quiet atmousphere.
2 Pool tables and minimum food so decent wet house. Lively at night aimed at the younger drinker
