The 25/40 a side cricket match still takes place, what a day, what a load of fun. I love this pub, friendly staff, friendly locals, and if you are there at the right time you can sit and enjoy a really nice pint and hear the church bells in the background, what could be better on a Sunday afternoon.

As before; excellent beer, good food, good value, friendly and welcoming! Spot on!

Lunch yesterday (5th November) was my first visit but won't be my last. Nothing flashy, just a really good honest pub. Food was reasonable and good and the pints of Directors were very good! Friendly too! I'll definitely be back for more...

Absolutely lovely little pub with a really nice atmosphere. My dad loved the real beers on tap and the history spread around the walls (3 varieties - bulk standard - Bombardier et al - but well kept. Great food at a really good price and a nice green outside for a drink on a sunny day. Will definately visit again (and have already recommended to friends!)

Lovely pub, ruined by the landlord. The wrong food turned up because he wrote my order down incorrectly, and when I pointed out his error he called me a liar - apparently whatever he writes down is what you said, no matter what you actually said. Just plain rude. Heard same complaint from others, so wait until he's out on his ear before frequenting this otherwise nice old boozer.

Proper village pub with 3 well kept real ales. Not sure if they still do the '25-a-side cricket match'.

This 17th century pub in the centre of Fobbing, has 18th century extensions that incorporate beams from the old Thames sailing barges. It serves three real ales and food is available at lunchtime only. A true village pub with a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome for all that visit.
