Small local pub with friendly staff and customers. Not a great selection of beers but my pint went down a treat, as did the next. Food menu limited but was proving popular. Staff happy to put on any sport you want on the TV's. Prices were not too bad either for the area. One of the better Brighton pubs. Stairs to the toilet knocked a couple of points off for me.

I really like this pub. It's always really welcoming and friendly and the beer is well kept which is important to me. The Sussex Best in particular is excellent. They'll also put on any football match you want if there's a spare TV. It's a great place.

Not bad little place. Decent pint of Butcombe.

Exceedingly average locals' pub. I get dragged along here from time-to-time when in the company of a mate whose Brighton-supporting group convene here before home games and it always disappoints. Harveys Best and a guest are usually on, but neither ever seems to be in great shape.

Hadnt noticed this one before - a great find, good atmosphere and well-kept pint of Tribute.

Great pub. Good landlord, nice decor and good patio area. Hidden-ish gem.

This is one of many good pubs around the station and this one has a good mix of locals and commuters. It is certainly a pub where they are keen on their sport - they have a good pool table and TV's. It is a friendly pub, the atmosphere is fine and the beer is always good. Sort of pub that the locals like as a local and visitors will generally re-visit.

Pleasantly refurbished pub selling Harveys real ale. Sport shown on TV much of the time so good if that is your thing. Reasonably friendly but sometimes pretty busy.

Went in for a drink this week-end and was pleasantly surprised. The recent refurb has done wonders for the place, now smart, clean and I liked the fact that there is more seating. Never noticed the patio before but not a bad size for central Brighton. Good selection of beers and wine and my wife rated the loos!

This Pub has been recently renovated, it now has a delightful courtyard garden, clean friendly interior. state of-the-art entertainment system which includes stand up comedians and music videos.

This could be such a lovely pub, but as usual they insist on showing sport. What is it with that?. Filled with a mixture of locals..some friendly some no so. Its not the sort of place you go to for a quiet drink with you other half or somewhere to read the paper in peace.

What can I say? the 2 girls behind the bar were nice, the locals seemed surley and unfriendly and they had the blooy rugby on when I wanted the football.
