please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

The Farmers Arms was packed on my Saturday evening visit. The large car park was full, the bar was packed and there was some kind of function going on. Many had spilled outdoors onto the patio overlooking the car park. Had it not been so busy, it would probably have been my favourite pub on this visit to Herefordshire. But it was too busy to enjoy. The ale selection was Siren Mortimer Ale, Gloucester Cascade, Navigation New Dawn Pale & Wye Valley Butty Bach, Daisy Duke & HPA. 4 ciders from Abrahalls were also available - Thundering Molly, Slack Alice, Nell Gwynne & Cuckoo Penny. Worth a visit when quieter.

I have had two meals at this pub. Both excellent in terms of quality of food, quantity of food, service, variety and presentation. A really superb place with a friendly and courteous landlord and staff. No smoking now so even better. One of the best pubs I have ever been to. I wish it was my local. Sadly, I live 60 miles away

This is my local - I can see the pub from my lounge window. When Bren and Shell left the pub in September 2004 the pub went into a rapid decline - so much so that I and most of the other regulars stopped using it. Thankfully now Ben is in charge it is a great place to visit with excellent food from an extensive menu, friendly atmosphere and warm welcome. Good beer including guest ales - even my favourite from my college days Felinfoel Double Dragon has made a recent appearance. Occasional live music and Sunday night pub quiz. If you haven't been back since March 2006 I suggest you give it a try - you will not be disappointed.

I visited this pub a few years ago and was extremely impressed, set in a lovely area and did fantastic food - i then visited January 2006 and was bitterly disappointed by the service and the food. However i was in the area last week and popped in with my family for a meal and the place has undergone a complete transformation, the food was excellent, the staff very friendly, it had a great atmosphere - Well done to the new owners you are now making the pub the place it used to be! I will be visiting again very shortly.

The pub has now recently changed hands and Ben is doing a fantastic job. The food is absolutely amazing - we had the spiced seabass and steak (cooked to perfection) with steamed veg which was really fresh and evidently local produce. Good wine selection (bottle & by the glass) plus a decent range of beers / ales. The bar area is clean, stylish and comfortable to relax in and there are two more areas where you can eat. All in all, had a great experience there - really friendly and good atmosphere. Will be going back.

Thank god you have noticed it, the whole pub is run by the click at the bar and no body else matters. I asked for a rare steak and got a well done and when my dad complained about it he just got told "so you dont want it then" when it first changed hands it was really good. Dont know whats happened to it now. Never mind. Plently of other places to go and eat and alot cheaper.

This used to be my favourite pub, and my local. I went for dinner 2 nights ago, it was dirty, ashtrays full, fireplace filthy, the staff were rude and unpleasant, I had to send my food back 3 times as it wasn't cooked properly - in short I will never go there again.

after complaining to the manager of this pub, we went back and it was just as bad if not worse than before. STAY CLEAR of this place the gravy will make you sick, the veg is tastless and whole experience is second class
