Up for auction and may not survive as a pub, as clearly has redevelopment potential for other uses / demolition.

I love this place and always make a point of nipping in whenever I pay Lolita and her 'twin sister' Gavin a call (nudge, nudge..say no more!)
I particularly like the food here/ On my most recent visit I started with the goat's cheese salad (very delicate, served with a balsamic dressing and shavings of truffle) and for my main had fish fingers, oven chips and tinned carrots. These were the best fish fingers I have ever thrown up.
For 'afters' I had pears poached in Bovril, complete with Bisto ice cream. Very Heston.
To drink I had a gallon of Poacher's Jailbait and finished with coffee (Iceland own brand instant by the taste of it) and a meths chaser.
I will certainly be visiting this pub again.

A great community pub with a fantastic atmosphere and good fun for the locals.

The name of the road says it all. Avoid this pub as you would a demonical, hursuite GP. Canterbury might not be blessed with many great pubs but you needn't stoop this low. Not so much bad - or even evyl - as desperately average and unloved.
