please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Judging by the punters sitting outside , you would need a good sense of humour to want to drink in this pub.

Try the W/spoons just down Sun Street , that's if you can get to the bar.

Popular you bet.

If your idea of a nice pub is one which has bouncers outside most evenings, then this might be the place for you. If not, not.

Looks nice from the outside but had bright lighting and didn't serve real ale

A council estate pub in the middle of the town. Quite horrible with an intimidating atmosphere. Avoid.

Must be one of the few places still doing Whitbread Poacher bitter on keg - not a reason to visit!

Smallest pub ever, but always really quick to get served. Good pub

Always an option for a late pint, usually end up here or The Kings Arms when we cant be bothered queueing for the corn.usually get served pretty quickly but it does get pretty packed.

tiny pub, busy at weekend due to late opening, not the nicest of crowds - but- i still drink there a few times a month, why? because they seem to have pretty good (and by that i mean fast) bar service, no matter how packed it gets. simple. (and no, i dont know the staff that posted earlier!) The corn exchange oposite could learn from them.

It sounds like a nice pub from the outside but changes when you get in there. No real ales, some smoothie bitters, quite loud and a youngans pub. If you like that sort of thing you will like this pub. I only stayed for about 10 minutes.

Well to begin with i work there, its a very quaint pub with a very personal atmosphere, on Thursdays we have a karaoke, Fridays and saturdays are extemely lively to say the least, we offer a late licence until 1am on thursdays, fridays and saturdays, and also offer excellent service from the best bar team in the area to say the very least. friendly staff and a great nite out.
