please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

An ok pub, but not sure it deserves the accolade of "best pub in Aldershot" Only one ale on and that wasn't great. I also think the Cask Marque accreditation is no longer valid.

Fantastic local pub. Family run. great atmosphere.
Bright and spacious well decorated pub.

A good selection Ales on regular rotation including, Jail Ale, Doom Bar, Tea, etc, Fosters, Cools Light & Kronberg on tap.

Regular weekly entertainment including Karaoke every Friday, Great bands of Saturday nights. Monthly Quiz night and Pool & Darts.

The locals are friendly and there is always a welcoming atmosphere. The Landlord is a proper character and being a BIG bloke, doesnt take any crap or trouble. So it is a safe environment from all. The Crimea is the one pub in Aldershot that my Mrs can walk in on her own and feel safe. Highly recommend it.

absolutely brilliant pub...we went there November 2011 because Gillingham were away to Aldershot and even though the pub wasnt meant to open until 12 we got there at half 11 and the landlord let us in early....had a few good pints and also a little sing-song we left about 20 past 2 and the bar-staff were very polite and welcomed us back after the game....we will definatly be returning for the Jolly Boys outing trip to Aldershot in the 2012/2013 Season

Friendly family run pub close to the football ground with a pool table, 2-3 ales on tap and well-priced pub grub available. There is a car park at the pub but those driving might wish to use the pay and display car park over the road. Cars get damaged in Aldershot esp. during footbal;l days/nights. Voted local pub of the year in 2010, the Crimea has been refurbished in recent years and has a good reputation and I was made very welcome by the locals. Landlord should sell beer in jugs as well as straight pints would be my whinge, thats all - the ales fine and the newly decorated pub is fine. I would return but other than the footie then Aldershot doesn't hold much for me. Has there been anyone famous or useful from Aldershot?

This pub has recently been voted "Best Pub in Aldershot" in the local newspaper. Interior has been updated in 2010 and the log fire has now been re-introduced. There are often 2-3 ales on tap including 6X, Hobgoblin, Hogs Back TEA, and Tribute amongst others. There are often theme nights too with karaoke most Fridays, quiz nights every Wednesday and pool and darts matches on other days. The occaisional Beer and Cider Festivals are also taking place.

IMHO, I hope this pub will make it into the next edition of the Good Beer Guide.

New landlord is reintroducing real ale - the Tribute and 49er were quite superb on my last recent visit. Well worth popping in.

Much improved recently, a lot cleaner and more pleasant pub than it used to be.

Normally two real ale on along with good selection of lagers and ciders.

Nearest pub to Aldershot football ground so can be busy on match days.

Big improvement from the old days. However the last posting sums up the problem during the day with the pub full of noisy kids.

This is by far the best pub in Aldershot, New owner's have done a great job referb makes the pub look homely. I visit this pub about 4 afternoon's a week with my kids who are 1 year and 4 months for lunch and i do have to say the food is second to none cooked from" scratch" by the landlady. Friday kareoke is hosted by the Rainbow (biggest name round here). I couldn't reccomend the crimea any more. Try it for your self you wont be dissapointed..

popped in for a couple before attending an evening Aldershot game (not as a home fan!). Pleasant surprise with a couple of good beers including Hobgoblin - and friendly staff.

Traditional, slightly old fashioned feel to this pub. Wadworths 6X and Hobgoblin available on my visit. Judging by the few pumpclips around the bar the choice of ales is limited to the usual suspects. Decent AOR playing in the background.

Quite nice pub in Aldershot. Had a pint of Adnams (2.70) which was ok but would've preferred the Bombardier which wasn't available. Didn't have any food but did notice they do Sunday roasts. Interior is reasonably clean as were the toilets and there's a dart board and pool table there too. Friday nights are karaoke nights which generate a really good atmosphere.

IMHO this is one of the better pubs in the area as you don't feel as if you're about to get your head kicked in unlike some other establishments in Aldershot...

7/10.
