First visit here today. Three real ales on, Purity, Fullers & Marstons stable. Food very good, busy , even on a wet mid-week lunchtime. Very good service from the young staff. next to Stratford canal.

Seems to have a good reputation for beer and food and er yup the beer is ok and the food is up to scratch. The staff was unusually helpful and the prices are what you`d expect from a quality out of the way boozer. Doesn`t strike me as a proper session venue though...touch of the hooray Henrys about it that`d put you off.

your above info 'distanceLapworth xx miles' looks a bit silly. The distance is around half a mile.

Rustic-looking (but expensive) terracotta tiled floor, wooden pews, tables and chairs and modern furnishings all combine to make this a pub that is renowned for being upmarket. Multi-roomed with bar service on all sides so it is possible to enjoy a drink without necessarily being surrounded by diners. Wide range of beers inc. excellent Hobgoblin on draught (3.10 a pint) as well as London Pride (2.90) plus the usual suspects and foreign niceties (think I saw Leffe). Open all day, quietish on Sunday at 5pm although still enough people to give an atmosphere. Did not visit to eat.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere.
Ate in the lovely restaurant. Meal started well with good starters but did not expect to be served tasteless frozen chips with my main course!!!
Disappointing!!!!

Nice Posh pub with decent food and the place where the posh totty hang out.

Thursday night is the stuff of legends.Grab a Grannie night as its known in the summer is the best pulling venue for the over 25's in Solihull.

It is full of Chavs but there is nothing wrong with that. Elderly versions of Westbrook, Big Bro Jade and Posh Spice lurk with a menacing intent. Good food but tough getting a drink at the bar on Thursdays. Summer venue only!
