It's functional as in it keeps the people who like being "seen" happy, but it's overpriced, pretentious in the extreme and utterly souless.
The bouncers have a huge attitude problem and refuse to tell you why you've not been let in - they don't discuss their policy.
All in all, if you're after good beer and conversation, go elsewhere, but if you're up for something pretentious and crass, this os for you

Yuk. Run to the hills. Full of orange faced ironed hair shop assistants, and nasty brut wearing shirts, it really is a place for Leeds' neuvo riche. Great drinks, nonetheless!

this place is definitely closer to how andy describes it and i love it, its wicked. They are strict, thats why i like it.

Three floors, and a cafe/restaurant, very nce atmosphere, lots of room to chill out and talk. And varied music on each floor.
