Good music pub in Southampton. Surprisingly well-kept beer. A happy accident that I popped in here.

I like this pub for the music - there's nowhere else I know where you can hear real quality performers (and, to be fair, occasionally, some rubbish) for the price of a drink.
On the minus side, it's in dire need of a good clean up.

Very friendly pub with really good live music (blues and jazz) most of the week plus cheap pool but the pub is really really dirty which really spoils it.

The drinks are ok, it is a bit dirty and careworn. It does, however, seem quite friendly. Regular free gigs by bands and singers

We met the brother of Thierry Henri in here. He was really nice and sat in the garden with us and chatted and made a fuss of our dog. Top bloke.

Visited last November, and place is still as good to drink in as my very first visit in november 1995.

It is a real pity that catherine and sharon don't still work there, but the beer is still great.

I think this is a really great pub. There aren't many places that you can see free live music every night of the week... It is without pretension and has nice beer (Pride and Pedigree if I remember rightly).

It's worth knowing that besides quality live music, this pub has played host to pantomine performed by the "Forty Pound Theatre Company" with hilarious adaptations of great classical plays.

Smelly and dirty. My friend actually got bitten by a flea in this place. Apparently they do food now. Scary.

Went along to see Kellys Tattoo (Irishy/Folky/Rock) and found this place to be very enjoyable. A FULL on music venue not pampering, nor pretending to be anything else, It would appear to offer music most every day of the year. Its not however a place where you need to go suited and booted...I would suggest a dress down policy. But if you want music, and all types of live music at that, you wont go wrong!!

Nice little boozer with a couple of pool tables and a small stage. Not sure of the usual bands they have on, but I heard a very cool jazz band.
