Wahey! Looks like this pub has finally closed down! They've had a sign on the door for a while saying they're doing a stock take... Hopefully this dive will reopen as something decent!

I used to use this gaff when I was about 17 (12 years ago). I loved it then, would probably hate it now. If all the fighting stories are true, then little has changed. Remember going in here once while sitting on a mate's shoulders. I cracked my head off the lintel of the door and went arse over tit. Then went up to the bar with blood pouring down my face and still got served! Thought it was heaven at the time. And yes, before you comment I was an aggressive little git and if I met me now (??) I'd give myself a slap. Still rating it 8 just for serving me all those years ago.

Quite possibly the worst pub in Sutton. The only good thing about it is watching the morons fighting outside it when you are waiting for a taxi at the station; it helps pass the time I suppose!

On Saturday I was told by the door staff of this place that it was shut at 11:20???? However my friends had just walked in, whilst I went to replenish my wallet. Sorry guys you are not an exlusive pub, so stop behaving like that as its you who cause all the fights. BTW thank god for mobile phones !!

With respect to the person who commented on 17th October 2003, obviousley he does need to find the time for a bit of self education- perhaps reading a book or two instead of "the sport" as people are entitled to an opinon that differs from theirs. This place is quite honestly a breeding ground for all whats wrong with society today, with horrendous staff and customer service and hit first think later bouncers............beer shite too.

Worst pub in Sutton full of prats, old men trying to pull anything in a skirt and girls who cause nothing but trouble. If they got rid of all these kind of people it wouldn't be a bad place.
Staff and doormen are fine, treat them with some respect and you will get it back.

i go there at least once a week... it is best on tuesdays... the vibe is just great... the DJ is heavy but other days of the week the Dj's are shit and so is Litten....if it wasn't for tuesdays i wouldn't go!

The doorman only get irate if the punters don't behave themselves the doorman are always polite if the punters are. The bar staff are also polite if the punters say please or thankyou very basics manners which most people have forgotten.

I WORK IN THIS PUB AND AS FOR THE REPUTATION THAT THERES ALWAYS FIGHTS IVE NEVER SEEN THEM AS THEY ARE HANDLED WELL BY STAFF AND THE DOORMAN. THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BITTER EITHER!!! Has to be the worst pub in the area, and that is saying something! Best avoided for the over 19's. Avoid drinking the bitter as you'll be the only one that is and it'll make you ill.

I dont usually go to Sutton but went for Friends birthday - the manager even gave her a free bottle of champagne! The staff are really friendly and very professional - and the DJ and his smiley friend changed the music when we asked! - plenty of room to dance - no hassle - we love it!

Litten Tree is a bad ass place if you no how to have a good time, plenty of pussy, but if u r gay like geeky computer guy [up top] then you would have more fun in a turkish sauna. at the end of the day if u look for trouble you will get it, but if u are cool and chilled u wont have a problem. p.s look out for a tall lanky git in a baby blue hoodie that spike drinks....
