VERY friendly landlady, well kept beers.
Light and airy interior.

In here last Saturday and by far the best pub in Town.
There was a bit of a crowd in but they left to go to a wedding leaving a dozen or so of us behind.
2 TV’s on one showing rugby and the other footy (Luton v Plymouth) – they also have a pool table.
6 hand pulls serving Marstons Bitter & Pedigree, Ringwoods Boon Doogle & 49er & Hobgoblin.
I had a pint of the Bank’s Bitter which was very nice and cost £3.00.

Popped in yesterday to see what the refurb was all about....6 Truncheons on the bar, which was an encouraging spectacle. Whilst not a fan of Banks/Marstons, I am pleased to report that both were in excellent nick, and served with a nice smile....makes a hell of a difference, so kudos for that. I look forward to seeing what upcoming Ale's arrive on the bar, and will visit again.

Reopened a couple of days ago. Very nicely refurbishment. Still has dart boards, pool table added. Nice selection of wines and spirits. Strong ow as cider, Guinness and carling as well as 6 beer pumps although only 3 in use with Pedigree, banks bitter and mild on draft. This is a freehouse so I can't wait for it to establish its trade and hopefully get so interesting guest beers. Will keep you in4med.

For a long time I have been a fan of this place. Run by an enthusiastic couple who want to run a proper pub. Went in on a quite Wednesday Evening. Adnams Bitter on and Betty Stoggs about to go on. Has all the usual but one other thing that stands out to me was the fact they still offer normal Guiness. This is a proper pub with proper values and everyone is made welcome and jess the pub dog is lovely.

Real ale is brilliantly kept by a beer enthusiast. Nice quiet pub for conversation.
