Great pub always on the verge of a riot, Paras local in the day but us REME lads were welcomed as non threatening types, happy days... hope its still going strong, good beer..

we love this pub along with the traf, the soldiers are not a problem, this pub was once featured on britains toughest pubs.. i was drinking there then and still do now, the new management has brought a calmer atmosphere with them, its nice... def worth a visit if you dont want the rowdy crowds of the main town,.

The Pegasus is under new management and probably the best it has ever had. Good prices and a friendly and lively atmosphere is an experience not to be missed.

This place has now been refurbished and renamed the Europa bar. Now, instead of a place frequented by drunken squaddies, it's a place without squaddies but even less atmosphere. Best avoided.

This pub must be visited.... if not for the scrumptious cream of mushroom and tarragon soup, to see the fantastic true-to-life impersonations of William G Stewart by one of the friendly locals.
