The Queen Adelaide is currently being refurbished. It badly needed it! Had a geat pint here some years ago with 2 young members of staff who were very knowledgable about local pub history. Here's hoping the old queen returns to her former glory.

This pub is now been closed for about 3 months

Went to this pub for the first time on Saturday - a glorious little watering hole. Met some really nice regulars in there too. Juke box has some great tunes. Will definitely be going back.

Quite nostalgic about the place - in 1981 I was a regular (aged 17!), and in the last 26 years the place hasn't changes an awful lot.
Would be better without the obligatory drunk celt at the bar, but most pubs seem to have one, don't they?

Basic pub with a run down type of feel, good juke box, brilliant sea dog location where seaweed sometimes blows in through the door under the watchful eye of Adelaide herself, who stands proudly in the corner.
