the new landlady is very polite and always treats the customers with the respect they deserve. well worth a visit.

this pub has struggled with numerous landlords over the years no investment by the holding company results in no investment from customers.better off building a housing estste on the plot.

Only visit this pub if you like rude obnoxious landladys that i wouldnt even rate as adequate bar staff.
The pub itself was empty and i had to wait 5 mins to get served,apparently wat was on tv was more interesting and in the end her partner,a very pleasant chap i must add,took mine and my partners order. It also looked very grubby in there and there was a smell of stale beer and old ashtrays that you just couldnt escape, there was a smell of damp in the ladies and the mens toilets i'm not even gonna talk about.
But the most appauling thing was the lack of p's and q's so as you may have gathered not a nice place at all and no wonder we never stayed to finish our drinks.
