In here last Saturday but morning time so fairly quiet.
Had a couple of pints of their guest ale @ 2.45 a pint

A typical Wetherspoons. Nothing special except for the customers. Firdt night I drank in there, the whole pub kicked off and a riot ensued. Filthy tables, stinking toilets and bog standard beers and dodgy real ales (the Speckled Hen tasted like slops). Gets busy on a summer day and the 'beer garden' is always full of screaming babies/adults.
Hell on earth.

Full of dirty, smelly patrons who are clearly scoring in the toilets.

Only been in this place a couple of times. Was ok nothing special. Staff and bouncers were friendly enough and surprisingly there was no trouble considering its in Dagenham.

Visited 6th December during photography tour of Dagenham. Pleasant lunch of penne pasta and meatballs - very tasty. Campbell, Hope & King "Double Amber", at 4.6% was a good, agreeable guest beer. The staff were friendly enough (for a Wetherspoon's) yesterday, and service was quick despite a large Christmas party taking place at the same time.

Clientele are a local mix, and were generally aged from 40 years upwards.

In summary, my visit was a pleasant one, free of mishap. However, Jaglover's complaint of 12th October has not yet been attended to - the cubicle locks remain broken.

A mark of 6/10 is appropriate for the pub taking into account all that I experienced.

Great pub to go to if you want to laugh at poor people. its full of them. And I dont mean the nice friendly kind of poor people. I mean, rough, rowdy, criminals.
Went here once and once only. I was offered a computer that still had the school it was stolen from etched in it.
Wont be going back!

i visited this pub last night first impressions staff not friendly lager was warm sat down tables were filthy, full ashtrays empty glasses.if you use gents toilets i suggest holding breath throughout your visit as they stink.womens toilet [was told] 1 cubicle out of order, 1 cubicle broken seat, 1 cubicle blood on walls my partner said its cleaner to go in street.was going to have a meal but decided not to because if the pub and toilets are like this what are the kitchens like, first and last visit to this pub.its a shame about this pub because it looks nice from outside perhaps we should all sit out there.

This is a lousy pub. Wetherspoons tried to off-load it but obviously there were no takers. Visited once found it quite depressing. Would not visit again.

This pub is a dump and in my opinion has gone down hill over the last year or so.The only guest ale on was a very dodgy Spitfire.Upstairs is smokey and dirty with the downstairs full of screaming babies in prams with their squabbling parents who seem to have taken over the whole of the area.Give it a miss.

Popped in there last Friday evening with my wife, had a couple of pints and ordered some food (surf & turf).
I asked if we could have the steak well done, well it came up cremated. It was inedable. We will not be visiting this pub anymore !

this pub has much improved in the past year! Nice atmosphere and freindly locals. Staff freindly and a little zany! Dont be put off if you walk past and it looks really busy as there is a downstairs that is normally empty. Give it a try you will be presently supplied! Sunday dinners are always busy so expect to wait a little longer than ten mins and try the lamb shank its great!

Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon. The pub was understaffed, and while I don't expect gourmet food at a Wetherspoon's, what we were served was a joke. The "chicken" was a nasty processed meatloaf-type thing, and when my friend ordered some bread advertised as something like "a selection of ciabbata with olive oil for dipping", what she got was a couple of slices of fruit loaf with butter! Insultingly bad.

Wetherspoons Pub just opposite the Dagenham Heathway District Line Underground Station. Pub is always busy and full of locals. Recently moved to this area from Bow and this is my new local, only realy come here on Friday nights so have not tried the food yet.

Typical selection of beer on tap, they dont do Jack Daniels? only Jim Beam whisky - never come across that before. Being a Wetherspoons they have the usual promotions and seem to always have a supply of cheap beer - since I've been coming the Stella and 1664 have been cheap. People mainly congregate at the front, making it look busier than it may be, go through to the back for the beer garden and large eating / sitting area.
