Worth the long haul up from Town Centre (get a bus is my recommendation). Good solid pub with nice pint to set me up for the thankfully downhill walk back!

A Harveys pub with a selection of ales as good as any in Eastbourne. Decor is tired but will hopefully be improved when a new landlord replaces the temporary manager.

Visited recently on a Friday afternoon with a couple of mates before heading into town. Quality Harveys in tip-top condition. Friendly welcome from landlord.

Can understand Floyd's comment re the 2 rooms either side of central bar - very much young 'uns and older 'uns, unfortunately I'm falling into the latter category but this place does the mix well. Bar billiards table (they have a league team!) was covered, prob for sat nt, but we settled for a quality Harveys and a chat with the landlord, who steered us toward Quali-seas chippy, back in town, for much needed solids. Good local feel.

I like the contrast in the two bars at this pub. The public bar has games & TV while the saloon is quieter and more comfortable. Excellent beer as well.

Agree totally with the comment above, best real pub around to watch the footy as well.

Possibly the best pint of Harvey's going. No nonsense boozer with lazer-precise-level pool table and dart board. Fine establishment for the real pub lover.
