Excellent Cafe Bar with a great selection of ales. Love the album covers as menus. A top spot to drink beer and watch the world go by.

Since it re-opened as Oddest, part of trio of Mancunian bars (Odd and Odder being the others), this bar has been transformed. It's a friendly, comfortable cafe-bar with the accent on interesting quality drinks and some decent home made food. There are usually 4 or 5 cask ales on, one or two ciders (proper stuff, from tubs), genuinely Continental lagers and a big range of bottles from around the world.
Food is served until surprisingly late at night (last orders at 8pm Fri and Sat, otherwise 9pm). I'm just back from having a very decent Sunday roast, which I think cost 7.75. Beer is 3 a pint for session beers, more for stronger stuff. Staff are knowledgeable and interested in what they sell.
This is all beginning to sound like a PR chap's blurb, so I will add one word of caution - don't sit too close to the toilets, you'll get a strong whiff of disinfectant every time someone opens the door.

A nice alternative in Chorlton, a haven of real ale - and this place has a nice convivial atmosphere (so much better than the previous Polarbar) a good beer selection (both bottled and cask) and fairly decent food. DJ's play chilled out tunes at the weekends, plus regular bands.

Not one of Chorlton's better bars. The beer choice is poor - there is no real ale. The bottle choice is inferior to many pubs in the area too. The interior is cold and loud. They do decent food though.

Excellent bar food; best in Chorlton and most varied I know of. Pity they don't serve real ale

the licensing hours have changed now so the place is open later and it has the best quiz night in chorlton by far. great place and great food.

Perhaps not the place to go of an evening, they do have a tendency to throw you out ridiculously early, but it has a great atmosphere during the day. The food's fantastic, by far the best in chorlton and it's well worth a try.

Nice spacious bar, food good.. toilets stink.. some nights good but then other nights there's too many posey brats thinking they are gods gift!

Tip: blue text on a blue background does not make the name of your bar easy to read from across the street.
