Doom bar and Deuchars was the only real ales on. Several craft beers Blue Moon and Tree Tops being on form. Had a Budvar to finish and it was disappointing, a bit flat. Nice place and reasonably friendly bar staff plus clientele early evening on a Tuesday was very mixed. Suits arriving just as I left.

Edinburgh prices can be a bit high but £4.90 for Budvar or Deuchars is a bit over the top as was £6 for a glass of cheap wine. Will leave this place to the "on my phone every second brigade".

Luncheon was blown out, so nothing to post back about. Bet it's still shite!

I went in a few times when it opened in 96. Doesn't sound as if it's changed much.

A pick-up joint for West End Suits and Skirt! Was in there one night and, from the wee balcony, watched them all parading about, quaffing champers. The men all guffawed loudly, whilst the heads of the women constantly revolved, looking to smell out a lucrative conquest and land a City Boy who can squander his cash upon her.

VERY Yuppie/'80s vibe. Beer was ok, though.

Extortionate prices over 15 for 3 pints & glass of wine. No-one needs to pay that price, to drink in a place thats full of nonses

Pretentious, expensive and who needs to pay through the nose to be jostled by the seuds.
