user reviews of Corney and Barrow, Liverpool Street

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I found the staff here to be very friendly, but there is no atmosphere other than local office workers chatting away at lunch and just after finishing work.

There are six Peroni taps and no other draught products which I find pathetic and a little pretentious.

The pub itself is thin with an open area at one end and a couple of balconies and it stretches around the circle below.

As mentioned before the prices are a little excessive making my choice not to drink here again an easy decision.

This bar is perfect for after work drinks especially in the summer when they have the BBQ.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Ideal location for commuters need to go to Liverpool Street station.

Would definitely recommend it.

Expensive and soulless this is a favourite for office based functions but not much else. The only redeeming thing I can say is that it was useful for watching the last World Cup on the big screen in the circle

Good place to see the City Suits in action over a glass of Chardonnay. When I was there a middle aged woman pushed past to go out to the Balcony, threw up, came out, left the door open so we could all share the stench of her offering, and then carried on drinking in the same bar while the bar staff cleaned up after her.

Nice!

Good view of the ice rink

knocking on for four pounds a pint. It's probably cheaper to drink in one of those Soho clip joints everyone warns you about when you move to London. And for that reason, Corney and Barrow can stick their drinks where the sun don't shine.

Expensive... only bottle lager on sale @ 3.50

Not worth it.

Wine & bottled beer and those tiny little canopy things. Not really worth the flight of stairs you need to walk up to get to it. On the plus side its partially outside and raised above the ice rink, so in summer you can look down all the secretaries top's as they walk below (and I wonder why im single!!)

This place is expensive, but with a good wine list anbd a good location cannot be beaten on a sunny day, or even on a winters day as it overlooks the ice rink
