Charming old fashioned little local with sunny and green rear beer garden. Nothing here for the young boozer, thank God. Well-kept Fullers Two Halves; live Test Cricket and racing on different and unintrusive screens; pleasant barman; usual regulars crowd of loser middle aged single blokes with money on the gee-gees trickling in after Saturday lunch: nice fellers up for a bit of a chat. Two well-spent hours.

Let's hope the pub doesn't get taken over by all the refugees from the New Town

A lovely local pub off the main streets of sutton. Lots of locals but all friendly. Had some food here which was lovely and will definately be back for food again. Knowledgeable landlord about guest ales that week though as fullers pub mainly those served but all ales are kept well. Between us we tried all 4 ales on that evening.

Fullers beer well kept but a bit expensive.Older well behaved customers than most pubs in Sutton..Beer garden for the warmer weather.Worth a visit, also dog friendly.

Back street pub with High street prices. A Recent 6%-8% price rise on beer has made this an expensive pub. Pride 3.30, Guinness and ESB at nearly 4.00 and Stella at 4.00, but that's what you deserve for drinking lager. It is a back street local after all. The only good thing is that high prices keep the riff raff out.

Fine traditional Fullers house in the well-pubbed New Town district of Sutton. Formerly a Charrington's house - it was previously called the Windsor Castle - but its name was changed to The Little Windsor to avoid confusing it with another much bigger pub nearly in Carshalton with the same name.

Looks a bit like somebody's house from the outside - indeed I gather it's 2 former cottages combined together

Well worth the walk out from Sutton town centre to find ( about 10 mins only )

Small, welcoming pub, beer a little pricey but discounted by 60p at less busy times. Mini art exhibition on the walls, quiz night is Thursdays. Well worth further visits.

This is a fantastic pub. I have only been here half a dozen times over the past year or so but each time the staff have been pleasant and the others in the bar (presumably locals) willing to talk to you. The beer is kept well and tastes as it ought to.

Although I could not recommend this pub highly enough, it isnt huge and I don't want to find it packed when I am there again next month.

I know the Landlord & Landlady from old...they are a class act - if you want a consistantly well run Pub with all the trimmings look no further.

Excellent pub, away from the hustle and bustle of the high street. Good food, good drink and good atmosphere. Excellent seating area on a split level outside. A lovely gem!!!!

the little windsor is a wicked little pub for meeting new people and having a decent meal and a quiet drink. the regulars are always up for a laugh and it is generally great fun and you will always go back for another visit.the bar staff here are wicked espeacially beckie who always has the biggest smile and a wink to die for and tracy has the biggest mouth going she knows more swear words than those invented by the rest of us but all in all a great pub to go to for a quiet drink and a laugh with your mates.

Super little 'locals' pub. Off the map for the high street sort of client, very friendly & well run by Alan & Jackie the pub boasts a host of characters from an ex-army para ("during the war....etc etc"), through to the amazingly well read quiz master. Meet accountants who have numbers instead of names (two eyes), a Scottish refugee, a man shaped tree monkey with an opinion on everything and a barmaid who knows swearwords even old Nick blushes at. Well worth at least one visit...you are bound to make a second.

A fine pub. A real local's local (don't stray from the path)! Nice landlord and Tracy is an 'X' rated hoot. Shame about the young barman with the dead spider on his head, though. Lovely garden out back and a great selection of ales (except when the Geordie comes to stay). Steer clear of fat Don.

On 10th July the Fullers bitters were in good form, as was the Jennings Cumberland Ale guest bitter. The staff were friendly, welcoming to 1st time visitors to the pub. There were sandwiches available "all day" according to the sign, and a selection of tasty-sounding food was described on the blackboard. The atmosphere was cosy, there was a small pleasant outdoor drinking are at the front, and a variety of nooks and crannies to choose from inside. Can't think why I never visited this pub before, except that it takes a bus journey from Norwood! I'll definitely be back.

Pleasant, if tiny, side-street local, with a cosy little garden area out the back.

Clearly well looked after, it has a gentle charm that the customers seem to respond to, a trait noticeable by it's absence in other Sutton pubs I could mention.

Worth a try.

Good Bitters, freindly. Very small, can be very crowded. Garden at the back. Its a bit off the beaten track, worth wondering to sometimes.

El Musty must stop doing the quizz when he is not chaperoned by his wife and spends all afternoon in the pub......how do you pronounce Aldeburgh again??

When visiting this great little boozer, try and get an introduction to the "GREAT MUSTOE". A regular of some repute and font of all things no-one needs to know.

Nice friendly pub. Good beer. Too small - six people and the place is packed (well, not quite, but it seems like it)

It's like drinking in someone's front room that has been converted into a pub. Small, intimate and very friendly. Beer okay too. Can get very crowded, very easliy which lets it down a lot.
