I have been saving my review for the King's Arms in Ockley for revisiting, as the first time we went we found the service sadly lacking. This was unfortunately the case on both visits, roughly two months apart. We booked late for an 8:30pm dinner saturday evening and despite arriving early and being at our table for around 8:15 we did not receive our main courses until 10:30pm at which time the restaurant was still full with the same diners as had been in all evening, and our hunger by this late stage in the evening had all but vanished. This also was the case on our first visit.

This is not to take away from the quality of the food and drink on offer, all courses, entrees and mains are exceptionally good, and for such amazing food the prices are more than fair. The wine list is quite good if a little overpriced, and the pint of Sharps Doom Bar is as good as anything I have tasted anywhere.

It is a shame that the service has let itself down on both of our visits, (as previously stated my review has been waiting for a revisit in case the first was an aberration.) I am very sad to report that it will be unlikely that we will return to the King's Arms as the extremely slow service did spoil on both occasions what would otherwise be the very best in excellent pub dining.

Not really a pub so not somewhere you'd go for some drinks with friends unless you're eating, in which case it's a pleasant place to eat.
We had a warm welcome from the new manager and Horsham beer in good condition. (Sharp's - Doom Barwas also on) Beautifully presented restaurant with excellent menu and great food to match. I'd certainly recommend for a nice meal in a clean, friendly, cosy atmosphere with great service

Under new management with a new chef. Didn't meet the new manager when we popped in for dinner but I approve of his choice of chef - food was superb. Delicious duck with chorizo, and the ale was pretty good too. Recommended.

Like Bryces this is a restaurant not a pub despite having a good range of real ales
All tables set out for eating
Have not eaten here but food seems very good but expensive

The food is excellent but only go there if your very hungry as teh portions are huge! Its fairly expensive but it is worth the money. Ockley is a very pretty village just off of the A24.
