Rubbish, smelly....

Frequented by the young party animals of a weekend. Quiet through the day rreally, below average food

Accidently went there 4 years ago! Sounds like it's still rubbish!

If your white and into neo-nazi shit. this is the place to go.

Not my favourite place to go, because of the prices, but it's a nice pub with a decent pint. Big screens everywhere, interesting things to look at on the walls, and the toilets are clean (which is always a bonus). But at night, mainly of a weekend, it is impossible to get served at the bar.

was 80's but (august 2005) under new management playing dir y dance music ..... shame really :)

Absolutely disgraceful. The manager should feel ashamed.

Saturday night is overcrowded and smashed glass is everywhere, the sooner this place gets sued the better. In addition I got 8 something change from a twenty for three smirnoff ice, either the bar staff were helping themselves to tips or its the most expensive bar I've ever been into in liverpool. [email protected] - if you feel like reimbursing me.

Interesting comments about the (in)famous Barra! Lets be honest here, as mentioned - great during the daytime, however come nightime is goes downhill fast, squadrons of scallies roam around looking for trouble (Liverpool English Dictionary `scally` - Lacoste wearing thug)
Horrendous music, shattered bottles on the floor...need I continue

People obviously don't know class when they see it. Well, i'll be there on Tuesday having a few drinks, doing some dancing, getting a couple of photos then stumbling home!

Barracuda never fails to impress! Tuesday nights in the Barra is by far the place to be on Tuesdays.

I think ianed24's brain has been destroyed by the mind numbing repetition of the Barracuda's playlist - A playlist so contrived and soul crushingly shit I believe it may have actually led to the death of John Peel (investigation pending).

Aall these negative comments are unjustified! Barracuda is a great place to go. Cheap drinks, especially on Tuesdays, great place to watch the footy and most importantly the best barmaids in Town! Music does tend to be the same most nights but it doesn't detract anything from a good night out for me!

Long live the Barra!!

It's like a werewolf. Decent bar during the day, but at night it transforms into a grade A dissapointment. Always packed just over capacity like a cow pen which isn't suprising considering the state of the women. Hell, and the men. Whoever mentioned the playlist before is spot on, it's the same stuff in the same order every night. At least you can play the 'what's on next' drinking game with your mates, I guess.

Decent bar during the day, shame about the evenings. Its either packed or empty, not to mention everyday except tuesdays is expensive! Music is good, although I wouldnt go there more than twice as the dj seems to have the playlist on 1 DVD... whcih is played in the same order everyweek..with practically no variation!

This is very cheap in comparison with some of the other bars in the vicinity. Don't recommend it of a weekend, but during the week this is as good a place to be as anywhere else on Hanover Street.
