Closed.no Open no closed wait a minute no open again. surely someone can make a go of it. If the new owners stop trying to attract the "Shameless/Jeremy Kyle Crowd" then it may become a good pub again. Ideally situated to get shop staff for lunch or early doors or students or Mansfield road crawlers but sadly attracts none of these.

Stopped serving real ales and seemed to be changing management, then started again with new managers, now no longer. Wasn't sensational quality when it did. Vicious circle with quality and trade.

Always a good pint of Bombadier available and staff always friendly

Good food menu & good quality real ale. Friendly & relaxed bar staff.
