used to be awesome, and is actually getting a lot better, clientele wise. music is great as well, lots of variety from acoustic sessions on thursday to awesome funky house on the weekend.

just reopened under new management, much better now, and they've sorted out the dodgy decor!

i believe this place has now closed down.i think there was quite a bit of pressure from the local authorities to do so.i wonder what it will become?

It will always and forever be Katie O'Connor's

Sunday Afternoons , St Patricks Days , This place is a historical artefact of the Irish in London. Just up the road from Mandies , best Irish shop in London.

err what can you say.tries to be the spotted dog i think but they never seem to have anything to sell.dont think itll be around long as all the antipodeans are moving out and being replaced by eastern europeans.

now called the Basket and Brief - dunno why. Gone all Antipodean and pretty lively at the weekends now.

I think it's gone now.

And probably :

"Ni bheidh a leithead ann aris"

I'd have a joint , head up the road to Katies , then a couple of pints of Smithicks and Fish and Chips , then off to work.

No wonder the Irish economy boomed when I left.
