Purpose built bar with little character next to the Cineworld complex. Ale choice pretty dull however the pint of Marstons/Ringwood Fortyniner was perfect and the low jdw pricetag was a welcome relief to the very steep prices in other Chichester establishments, 7/10

Came here on a Saturday night (Oct 14) and Sunday afternoon (Oct 15) for food with the lads. Bar the ridiculously drunk woman who tried to snog me on the dance floor, this place was excellent in all departments once again! No toilet attendant as well on a Saturday night, hoo-ray! Superb place to search for H-Files in Chichester.

Lord of the Rings to Lloyds No. 1 in Chicester......oh how the mighty have fallen.

I have been here with my girlfriend numerous times between March and June 2006 on either a Friday/Saturday night and for something to eat. Coming from Sarf-East London, it is one of the better Lloyds' bars I have visited. Lively atmosphere, adequate seating areas (if you don't wish to stand all night) and I enjoyed the tunes the DJ usually plays to complement the cheaper drinks! I think they finally have Jack Daniels now as well! The machine with the 'Who wants to be a millionaire' and 'Hangman' games on it is also a good laugh. Obviously, I was not looking, but I imagine that this would be a great place for lads 'on the pull' over a Friday and Saturday night, before going to Thursdays or to Visions or Mud Club in Bognor. Bring on the H-Files then, especially with the hotel a stone throw away!! Food is pretty decent as well and good value for money, though eat before 7ish on a Friday/Saturday night before it gets busy. Would definitely visit again when in Chi.

I actually think this is one of the best bars i've been to. decent Draught and spirits at daft prices, can't really complain.. i have noticed the chavs are slowly reducing and there is a selection of decent totty in there { forgive me sam, no harm in just looking}
I return from Australia soon so i've no doubt i will be trying there for employment.
Top atmosphere on weekends and thurday nights.
Only flaw is i get I.D'd by the same bouncer every week, yet im sure he must reconise me by now.. but the laws the law i guess.
Good pre club Bar!!

i'd suggest it was the reebocks sweetie, they should have been furry boots by now, or at least some nice knee length brown leather boots, as befitting you status as a LADY..

Dear Manager

I went to your bar and did everything right.

I wore my new tracksuit and a (highly polished) pair of Reebok Classics. I adorned my neck and hands in Argos Ice and gelled my hair forward. I even went to lengths of allowing my friend to blacken my eye 2 weeks prior to my visit, yet as I tried to get in the doormonkeys advised me -

"not tonight"

What's a girl got to do?

i am mad enough to run this place !
and am sure youll agree its a great looking bar,
very busy evenings at weekends
the food is much better these days - as weve found a great head chef, belive me try her steaks !
the toilets are an issue - long way - high up - TOP TIP - dont wear a REALLY short skirt !?!
we have doorstaff every night - mainly to stop the small element of people who ruin your night. sorry if they did.
we open every day from midday- were not just about noisy evenings! massive menu,25 beers from around the world, real ales and lots of cosy corners to hide away from the world in. Quiz night on a sunday to get that brain back to monday best if your up to it !
thankyou too all the below (& hopefully above) comments - i will try to sort them out !

The food is actually ok, but only come here late afternoon/early evening. Unless you like being stared at by chavs all night and running the risk of a good kicking outside. In that case stay all night....
Best left alone.

I keep being dragged there by people.....stop!
Loathe it.
As Anonymous said, the toilets being upstairs leads to an unfortunate (depending on your point of view!) view up everyone's skirts.
Mind you, the clientele there tend to prefer belts rather than skirts on a Friday evening.

Haven't tried the food. I'm not stupid.

Truly a meat market.
Packed, noisy.
You can't have a conversation with yourself, let alone any friends at weekends.
Only go there if you want to pick someone up.
Then again, it's not even good for that.
